product developer, product designer

As much as we’d love to triple our sales, I don’t think these product developers actually did the right tests or came to the right conclusion. Now, if you are much smarter and more creative than these two, you are most likely the treasure that I have been hunting for!

Nordic Quality is a team of awesome individuals from around the globe – mainly Europe and Asia. We sell various products under our three brands – Nordic Lifting, Nordic Flash, and Nordic Essentials – on Amazon and other online platforms. Nordic Lifting, our main brand, sells gym accessories. Nordic Flash sells camera/Go Pro accessories. And Nordic Essentials sells other cool and exciting products that do not fall under the first two categories. We have been around for years and are looking to upping our game with the help of an awesome product developer.

The developer that we have in mind has:

  • Experience in developing products;
  • Stellar researching skills;
  • Willingness to travel to China, if necessary for certain products, to communicate with the manufacturer;
  • Amazing communication skills to communicate with the CEO about his/her ideas and to communicate with the manufacturers.
  • Sense of originality;
  • Creativity.

Big plus, but not required:

  • It’s definitely a big plus if you go to the gym. But if you don’t, no problem at all as long as you can still research on what the end user would like and need.

Do you have all of those? If you just said yes, then please keep reading. We’re about to discuss the more exciting stuff. I’m sure you’d love to know what your tasks would be if you were to join the team.

If you were to be hired, you’d be working remotely/online for 40 hours per week (160 hours per month) on semi-flexible schedule with a time tracker, taking care of the following tasks:

  • Coming up with ideas to improve existing products;
  • Trying to create new and unique products inspired by what’s already out there;
  • Improving the packaging in a way that aligns with what would make the brand’s audience more excited and interested;
  • Finding product trends and trying to gain a competitive edge on other existing products on the market;
  • Ensuring that the products are safe and functional;
  • Helping avoid legal complications by making sure that the products are not patented;
  • Communicating directly with suppliers;
  • Collaborating with other department to think of ideas on how to market the products better than the competitors do.

Of course, since you’d be really contributing a lot to the company if you were to join us, we’d also love to give back to you. You’re probably wondering what’s in it for you. Here’s what:

  • First of all, you’ll get to report to an amazing boss! Isn’t that great? Gone are the days when you’d go out with friends and talk about how much you love your job but you have a boss who makes things harder for you.
  • Competitive compensation, plus benefits, and other cool stuff!
  • Having an office where you feel at home. Well, I guess that’s because it’ll be right in your home. Bye, traffic!
  • Comfortable dress code. You can literally work in your pyjamas. Or you can just have gym shorts on and/or your old favorite T-shirt, and you’re done!
  • Opportunity to travel.
